Kamal Haasan in Erode, visits Periyar House

Prime Minister’s Chennai visit has created a lot of uneasiness in the city because of various agitation by political parties, Tamil activists and students urging the Central Government to form the Cauvery Management Board.

The hashtag #GoBackModi is topping the trends on Twitter. Now, Kamal Haasan has sent a video message to the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Good morning sir, my name is Kamal Haasan. This is an open video for honorable Prime Minister. I’m very sure you are aware of the crisis in Tamil Nadu and the ongoing agitations for Cauvery water. I think with your experience with Narmada Control Authority, you could easily deliver the justice that Tamil Nadu is seeking for. Both Pandits and Pedestrians alike suspect and believe that the delay in us getting justice is due to the elections in Karnataka and your interest in it. I want the belief to be dispelled for people, they more important than the elections. Thank you, sir, please do justice to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and see that the Supreme Court judgment is followed. I’m also sending an open letter, in case if I missed any points with my anxiety to pass in the tumultuous mood of Tamil Nadu in getting water for Tamil Nadu and their farmers. Thank you, sir, I’m sure you will do the needful and you must”.
