Kamal's Kathak performance in Viswaroopam

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is a born dancer as proved in his early films.
For his latest film Viswaroopam Kamal attended Kathak classes in Delhi. He trained under Birju Maharaj, a leading exponent of Varanasi Kalka-Bindad in Gharana of Kathak dance for a month.
One of the highlights of Viswaroopam is the Kathak song and dance in the film composed by Shankar Ehasan Loy.
The particular song has been partially shot ina Chennai studio with the remaining part to be shot in US.
For the song 50 students of Birju Maharaj came to Chennai to dance along with Kamal. Remember Birju Maharaj had earlier choreographed a song for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devadas in which Madhuri Dixit danced.
Viswaroopam will have a English version titled Vishwaroop in Hindi. The film has Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Andrea and Isha Sherwani.
The Ulaganayagan has alsopenned a song for the film, which has five songs. Vairamuthu has written thelyrics for the other four songs.
Kamal Haasan is leaving for US on a one month schedule on December 15. Viswaroopam is going to be an action packed musical entertainer.
