Kamal Haasan has started work on the script of his next film Thalaivan Irukiran.
It is a long pending dream project of Ulaga Nayagan, which will start rolling early next year. It is more or less confirmed that it will be the actor's next film after Manmadhan Ambu.
In an interview to a Sunday supplement of a leading Malayalam daily Kamal Haasan says: "I'm at the moment deeply immersed in writing the final draft of my pet project Thalaivan Irukiran, which will be my next film. It is a big project about an international community, and my mind is fully on it."
The buzz is that once Kamal finishes the script of this big budget film, he will start the shoot of the multi starrer by March 2011. It is likely to be directed by Kamal or a person close to him.
The grapevine is all abuzz that a Hollywood studio has shown interest in funding the venture along with Rajkamal.
Now after US President Obama's successful Indian visit, Hollywood studios are keen to do more business with India.
Kamal Haasan according to trade journals is one of the few Indian actors with a good overseas market.
