Gags galore, Laughs. This oneís strictly for Kollywood junkies whose funny bones are easy to tickle.

Director Manikandan has concocted a workable comic formula in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasiaya (KLTA), a sparkling comedy that is cheerfully dumb and doesn't aspire for anything more than cheap laughs. Itís seriously low IQ but you canít stop laughing. The actors are having such a good time that their energy is infectious and the gags are non- stop.

The comedy stems from the premise of three funny men played by Sethu, Santhanam, Power Star Srinivasan and trying to woo a girl (Visakha Singh) in their own way and borrows its basic premise from filmmaker-actor K Bhagyaraj's yesteryear superhit film Indru Poi Naalai Vaa.

KLTA is a time pass comedy. Having funny people like Santhanam, Powerstar Srinivasan, VTV Ganesh, Kovai Sarala and Devadarsini together on screen and giving them comic one liners, brings the house down. A brand new comedy Jodi of Santhanam and Powerstar Srinivasan scorches the screen. Their comic timing makes the slapstick madness work. Technically it is a very basic film with some Kuthu music thrown in by Thaman.

The best thing about KLTA is that Santhanam who is also the producer of the film underplays his character and gives equal importance to his two friends. And to be fair, his comic timing is matched by Sethu and power star who are newcomers. The plot, characters and situations keep the chuckle fest vibrant and alive till the end. STR makes a cameo where he instigates the heroes to face and tackle their problems.

Put your hands together for KLTA. It is gleefully and unpretentiously moronic. We know, film critics should set the bar higher but honestly, this is probably the most fun youíll have in a theatre this weekend. Go for It.

Verdict: Jolly fun ride
