Vikram and his director Susi Ganesan, has completed 35 days of shoot of Producer Kalaipuli.S.Dhanu's magnum opus Kanthaswamy in and around Chennai. In December the production team will be shifting to never-seen-before foreign locales and Shriya will be joining the unit soon.
Meanwhile the buzz is that director Susi in his script has a strong villain character pitched against the hero. Unlike our other heroes, Vikram does not mind strong characters in his film, which actually helps the hero to be glorified. There are also rumours that Vikram himself is playing a dual role- a good guy and bad guy!
Now the latest we hear is that the upcoming Malayalam actor Indrajith, elder brother of Pritviraj is being considered for this pivotal role. Indrajith and Pritviraj are sons of the late Sukumaran, a Malayalam superstar of the 70's known for his dialogue delivery and stylized acting. Indrajit had his education in Chennai and can speak Tamil fluently.
A young villain like Indrajith against Vikram, instead of the usual non-Tamil (Sayaji Shinde, Ashish Vidyarti) guys will be a welcome change. However nothing has been finalized and other people like Arjun Rampal (terrific in OSO), Irfan Khan, and Suman are also in the fray to do this coveted role.
