Now that Kareena Kapoor's sleek size-zero look in her latest film Tashan failed to work wonders at the box-office, she has added a few pounds for a new look in forthcoming Main Aur Mrs Khanna.
A source close to the actress has confirmed that Kareena has gained weight for her new style for the film, which also stars brothers Salman and Sohail Khan in pivotal roles.
Tashan had action scenes and required Kareena to be thin and to look fit. So she cut down on her weight. But her character in Main Aur Mrs Khanna is entirely different.
"Kareena plays a housewife and has kept her style keeping the character in mind," the source was quoted as saying.
Incidentally, Kareena's favourite designer Manish Malhotra, who tailored her look for Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, said: "Bebo (Kareena) has never looked better."
Although the actress' prescribed diet includes parathas, momos, cheese, pasta and bananas, it is her daily routine of yoga that keeps her fit.
