Karthi- Nagarjuna bilingual begins with a pooja

Karthi and Nagarjuna’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual has begun with a formal pooja on Sunday (March 15) at Chennai AVM Pillayar temple. Karthi’s father and ace actor Sivakumar clapped the first shot of the Tamil version.

The untitled film will be produced by PVP cinemas and already the makers have organized a separate pooja for the Telugu version in Hyderabad. Shruthi Haasan has been confirmed as one of the heroines in the film while the hunt is on for the second female lead.

Vamsi Paidipally of Brindavanam fame will be directing the Tamil-Telugu bilingual and Gopi Sundar who is known for his works in Bangalore Days and Ustad Hotel will be composing the music.

PVP cinemas have also confirmed PS Vinod of Aaranya Kaandam fame as the cinematographer for this bilingual.
