Lyca Productions unveiled the first look and motion poster of Nayanthara’s Kolamaavu Kokila (CO CO).
Talking about the film, director Nelson says “What happens when an ordinary girl and her family is subjected to an extraordinary situation is the crux of the film. But Kolamaavu Kokila is not a hard-hitting script, it has all necessary elements including comedy, sentiment and there are situations which will give an emotional high to the audiences”.
Nelson also assures that Kolamaavu Kokila will be unique from Nayanthara’s previous heroine-centric films, the actress has a penchant for selecting script-driven films like Maya and Aramm.
In the first look, Nayanthara sported Pavadai-Sattai, which hints that she plays a normal girl-next-door, which also has Saranya Ponvannan and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The director says just like how Nayanthara how looked differently in Maya, Aramm, and Dora, she has come up with a look suitable for the script of Kolamaavu Kokila.
Anirudh, the film’s music composer is a close friend of Nelson. Kolamaavu Kokila will have four to five songs, says the director who roped in cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan after impressed by his work in Irudhi Suttru.
The first single from the film will be unveiled on March 8.
