'M.S.K.'a big hit, overseas

Despite a heavy flow of Hollywood films, including the debut of the Tom Cruise starrer COLLATERAL in U.S. and the Will Smith starrer I, ROBOT in U.K., David Dhawan's comic caper MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI continues to maintain fantastic collections. The film has emerged a big hit overseas!

U.K. BOX-OFFICE

  • Although six English films made their debut in U.K. this weekend, including the Will Smith blockbuster I, ROBOT, MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI continues to attract cinegoers aplenty [last weekend: No. 8, this weekend: No. 11]. In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 103,192 on 32 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 3,225. The total so far has been £ 414,836 [approx. Rs. 3.54 crores].

    If the per screen average is to be noted, M.S.K. occupies No. 3 position in U.K. charts in its second weekend.

  • HUM TUM shows a jump in collections [last weekend: No. 42, this weekend: No. 37]. In its eleventh weekend, the film has collected £ 2,436 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 609. The total so far has been £ 640,243 [approx. Rs. 5.47 crores].
