The audio launch of Vishnu Vishal's Maaveeran Kittu took place today (November 4) morning at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai.
Speaking at the function directors Pandiraj and Ranjith showered praises on director Suseenthiran's previous works.
While Pandiraj lauded Suseenthiran's swift working style of completing films at record time, Ranjith praised the director's subtle political ideologies in films like Venilla Kabadi Kuzhu and Jeeva.
The film's music composer Imman said that Maaveeran Kittu album is a close to his heart and appreciated Sri Divya for bringing out right emotions for his songs. Lyricist Yuga Bharathy debuts as a dialogue writer with Maaveeran Kittu and everyone at the event praised his work.
Actor Parthiepan, who plays an important role in the film said that Suseenthiran is a perfectionist. "Even for a closeup shot focusing my hand, Suseenthiran had called me saying that there is a patch up work and only then came to know that the shot is for my hand", said Parthiepan with his trademark comic sense.
The film's hero Vishnu Vishal said that Maaveeran Kittu will be an important movie in his career and added that he will be soon working with director Suseenthiran for the fourth time.
"Songs in Jeeva are still being played in TV channels and I'm sure Maaveeran Kittu's songs will also receive the same reception, thanks to Imman sir", said Vishnu.
Sri Divya, the film's heroine has also thanked Imman for continuously giving super hit songs like Ootha Color Ribbon, Ovondrai (Jeeva) and Karuvaya (Marudhu).
From the two songs and trailer of the film screened at the event, looks like Maaveeran Kittu is a realistic political drama set in 80's backdrop. The team has also distributed cassettes instead of CDs suiting the movie's theme.
