[India], Jan. 05 (ANI): Pop icon Madonna has an ambitious goal for 2018 as she aims to open four more schools in the southeast Africa's Malawi.
The 59-year-old singer took to her Instagram account and poster a picture with the kids, captioning, "Let's start 2018 off right! ??????! I'm challenging you all to stand up, come together and BE the CHANGE you want to SEE in the World! ?? ????!"
"This year we'll begin by building 4 brand new schools in the Kasungu District of #Malawi ????. with @RaisingMalawi and @buildOn!! That's 14 schools in total that will help thousands of kids get the education they so rightfully deserve! ??????Now is the time! Join the #revolutionoflove! ???????? #RaisingMalawi ????????????#knowlege #power #education children #life #love ??," she added.
There will be 14 schools in total that will help thousands of kids to get education in Malawi.
The 'Don't Tell Me' hit-maker co-founded the Raising Malawi foundation in 2006.
She has also been dubbed a 'daughter' of the nation as she has adopted four children from the region: daughter Mercy James, 11, son David Banda, 12, and 5-year-old twin girls Estere and Stella.
Previously in July, the 'Frozen' hit-maker also opened The Mercy James Institute for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in the country. (ANI)
