'thuraamalingam' gets ready for release

The Madras High Court has banned Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand starrer Muthuramalingam as the film’s original producer Vijay Prakash failed to settle RS 28.55 lakhs, which he owes to MV Prakash.

Produced by Global Media Works, the film also has Napoleon, Viji Chandrasekar and FEFSI Vijayan in important roles. Ilaiayaraaja has composed music for the film and ‘Ulaganayagan’  Kamal Haasan has rendered his voice for the opening number.

Following the High Court order, Muthuramalingam will be removed from theaters across Tamil Nadu.

It is rather interesting to note that majority of audiences have already expressed their disappointment as the film boasts about ‘Thevar’ community with unnecessary violence.
