"Mahesh is better than Amitabh"

The ceremony was held on Monday, January 23, 2012 at HICC in Hyderabad and Dasari Narayana Rao, Ram Gopal Varma, Superstar Krishna, S V Krishna Reddy, Mahesh Babu, Kajal, S S Taman and director Puri Jagannadh graced it.

Mahesh is a director`s actor: Dasari

Dasari showered praises on Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh. "After the success of Dookudu, when I spoke to him, Mahesh told me that he did whatever director Srinu Vytla asked him to do so. Now he credits the entire success to Puri Jagan.

"Stars become superstars when they surrender to a director. History tells us that stars who tried to control the directors have seen the downfall later. So I appreciate Mahesh Babu for going by the directors` vision," Dasari Narayana Rao lauded Mahesh Babu. He also said that the film`s success belongs to Puri Jagan for his fantastic dialogues and novel approach.

Mahesh is the best actor in India: RGV

Ram Gopal Varma in his speech declared Mahesh Babu as the best actor in India. When reminded him his earlier statement that there is no better actor than Big B Amitabh, RGV said that Mahesh is better than Amitabh.
