The first look poster of the forthcoming magnum opus Mamangam has Mammootty and Unni Mukundan in it.
Directed by M Padmakumar, Mamangam is said to be the costliest movie made in Malayalam until date. Venu Kunnappilly is the producer of Mamangam, which will release in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Mamangam is a festival held in the banks of Thirunavaya once in 12 years, some centuries back. The warriors used to come from various corners to show their talents.
Mamangam has Prachi Tehlan, Anu Sithara, Prachi Desai and Kaniha in the lead roles, besides Mammootty and Unni Mukundan.
Meanwhile, Sajeev Pillai, who was the director of the project when it first started rolling has written a Facebook post against excluding his name from the credits for story or screenplay of Mamangam.
