The loveable trio Mannar Mathai (Innocent), Balakrishnan (Sai Kumar) and Gopalakrishnan (Mukesh) came on screen for the first time in 1989 in Ramji Rao Speaking, directed by Siddique Lal.
They returned in the sequel, Mannar Mathai Speaking, which came out in 1995. Now director Mamas brings them back in a laugh riot Mannar Mathai Speaking 2.
Produced under the banner of SJM Entertainments, Mannar Mathai 2 has camera by Vishnu Narayan and music by Rahul Raj.
The characters of the earlier films like Ramji Rao (Vijayaraghavan), Mahendra Varma (Biju Menon), Garvasis Asan (Janardhanan) and driver Ponnappan (Indrans) are all there in this version as well.
Mamas has earlier directed Paappi Appacha and Cinema Company.
