Maveeran audio launched by Kamal & Mani

The audio of Maveeran the dubbed Tamil version of the Telugu blockbuster Magadheera was launched on Sunday (April 25) at a star hotel in Chennai.

It was the biggest ever audio launch for a dubbed film. Magadheera (2009) directed by hit maker SS Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind and his Geeta Arts has Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Tej and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead.

It is currently the highest grossing Telugu film of all time grossing nearly 118 crore and the only Telugu film to gross more than 100 crore.



The audio launch of the Tamil version was a grand affair.  Kamal Haasan handed over the first copy to Mani Ratnam and the invitees included directors KS Ravikumar, AM Ratnam, Dharani, Suhasini, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Ramanarayanan, AM Ratnam and the unit members like director SS Rajamouli, Allu Aravind, Allu Sirish and hero Ram Charan Teja.

Two songs tuned by MM Keeravani and the slick trailer of the film was showcased for the special invitees and the media.

The film had won two National Film Award for Best Special Effects, and choreography. The show was anchored by SP Charan and Divya.
