"Fresh after the launch of Club la Mabu la, I met Adhi. I assumed that he is a rich lad wanting to waste his parents money in the name of music videos. But Adhi came with a torn jeans and old T-Shirt", recalled Sundar C on his first meeting with the composer.
Initially, Sundar C had plans to rope in five composers to compose five songs in Aambala but after listening to Pazhagikkalam number composed by Adhi, the director went ahead and asked him to compose all the tracks.
The producer added “At the Aambala press meet, told everyone that I would launch Adhi as a hero, glad that it has happened now. Meesaya Murukku is sort of Adhi's biography along with commercial elements".
“Sundar C sir wanted big technicians for Meesaya Murukku but I preferred to work with a young team, who came to limelight through YouTube. The only established actor I wanted in the film is Vivek sir, he plays my dad in the film", said Hiphop Tamizha Adhi, who is also the director of Meesaya Murukku.
