KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is in charge for the screenplay of Thalapathy Vijay’s Mersal said in a recent media interaction that the film has emotional mass moments, which will attract both fans and the general audiences. “The film has many potential mass emotional sequences. Audiences are bound to clap for such scenes in Mersal”, said the Baahubali writer.
“I liked Atlee’s two films, he approached me with an interesting idea. I loved the concept of Mersal and developed the screenplay”, added Vijayendra Prasad. In Mersal, Vijay is playing triple role — a village rebel, doctor, and magician, the actor also has three heroines including Nithya Menon, Kajal, and Samantha.
Sri Thenandal Films is producing the film in which SJ Suryah plays the antagonist and Sathyaraj will also be seen in an important role. Rahman is scoring the music for Mersal and the grand audio launch of the film will be happening on August 20.
The film is scheduled to release for Diwali.
