Milestone films of the last 60 years

The face of films has changed over the years and how. From a Mother India to a Munnabhai, we sure have come a long way. Pre-Independence, the kind of films being made in India was full of patriotic fervour, full of messages and full of morality. But Independence brought with it a freedom that was creative in the extreme and this was reflected in our films. Lata Khubchandani looks at some milestone films of Hindi cinema.
