Mithivedi- First Tamil film on Internet

Mithivedi, an Australian made Tamil film about the landmines issue in Srilanka, is the first Tamil film released directly on the internet.

Mystic Films Australia has produced and released the film on internet on Friday 17th February 2012, through their website.

Talented actor Daniel Balaji has done a menacing role as a Srilankan Army Lieutenant and  Neelima has done an emotionally captivating role as an Eelam Tamil woman trying to save her baby after being stuck on a minefield.

Anand Maiyur Srinivas, an Australian Tamil, has written and directed the film.

Says the Director, “The global response for our film trailer on YouTube encouraged me to release the film online and explore online distribution".
