The tall and svelte beauty is gearing up for her first film in Tollywood. Make way for Vaani Kapoor as she readies up for her first film Aaha Kalyanam.
Vani Kapoor is a practical woman, she knows what she wants. Hard work is her mantra, and she promises that she has given her best shot in her first Telugu film. In conversation with Vaani Kapoor, who talks about her films, marriage and future plans…
Aaha Kalyanam is your first South Indian film. How was the experience?
It was wonderful working with the Aaha Kalyanam team. My co-star, director and the entire team was great to me. Very friendly people and I shared good comfort level. My director helped me a lot to understand the scenes and get the best out of me. I would term it as a very good experience.
Tell us about Nani? Have you watched his films before?
No, I haven`t watched any of his Telugu films. My friends would talk about Makki (Eega in Telugu) but I never found the time to watch it. When I signed for Aaha Kalyanam, I watched some parts of Makki. Nani and I were very reserved to each other initially. After the first shot we kind of warmed up and hit off well. He is a nice guy, easy going person. No tantrums and very sweet. He also gets my jokes (laughs).
