Cinematographer turned director Jibu Jacob's Mohanlal project has been named Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol. The superstar is playing a Panchayat secretary named Ulahannan.
The shooting is currently underway in Kozhikode and will be over by early October.
Meena plays Mohanlal’s heroine, after the blockbuster hit Drishyam.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, produced by Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters, is based on a story by author V J James, titled Pranayopanishath. The film’s script has been penned by M Sindhuraj.
Jibu Jacob has earlier directed Vellimoonga, which went on to become one of the highest grossers during recent times. Mohanlal is riding high after the success of his latest release, Oppam.
