By Dipin Mananthavady Mohanlal is in the midst of chaos when we meet him.
The Malayalam superstar is on the sets of Karmayodha at Mattanchery Wharf, and is preparing for a few stunt sequences.
The shoot goes on like clockwork, and the actor has little time to spare. But we manage to catch up with him during a break.
Excerpts from an interview:
We heard you've moved to Chennai...Is that true?
Who told you I'm moving to Chennai?
There were news reports that you were shifting...
I don't know about those reports. I haven't told anyone I'm shifting. It is true that we're building a new house in Chennai.
The rest are all lies. These days, people seem to be reporting what I don't say, or what I don't even think!
I'm not moving... My wife's family is in Chennai. We sold our home in Madras before we came to Kochi. Now, we got a good plot there, and decided to build a house.
You've lived in various cities. Which is the one place you think would be ideal to settle down in?
I haven't thought of settling down yet. I spend most of my time in Kochi. I grew up in Thiruvananthapuram. And after that, I moved to Chennai.
For some time now, a lot of the movies are being shot in Kochi. This isn't the right time to be thinking of which city to live in permanently. For instance, I was in Ottapalam for a while for the shoot of this film. And then in Pollachi. So, it isn't practical for me to decide on one particular place to stay.
