Mollywood unites demanding justice for Jisha

As the brutal rape and murder of a dalit law student at Perumbavoor near Kochi has shocked Malayalis, Mollywood stars have raised their voice, demanding quick action.

The girl, Jisha, was murdered inside her modest home, when she was alone there. 

Mammootty says that the real hero is one who protects the dignity of women.

Mohanlal calls for a pledge that “let’s unite and decide that we shall never let anything like this happen to women around us.”

Prithviraj wants all to get up and speak.

Dileep, Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salmaan, Manju Warrier, Aashiq Abu, Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith and many others have expressed their support for the movement against brutality in the society, through their Facebook posts.
