Jaggesh, Rohini, Srinivasamurthy, Mukyamantri Chandru
Gopal (Jaggesh) the only son of Bettappa (Srinivasamurthy), a coconut merchant of Gopalapura, wants to become a film hero. But his father does not like the idea and wants him to look after his family business. But Gopal goes to Bangalore city with Rs 10 Lakhs and gets introduced to duplicates of Dr.Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhana and Ravichandran by a broker.
Gopala believes them as originals and miscalculates the clout of the broker. He is in the company of wrong persons and very soon Gopal loses all his money. He is made scapegoat for no mistake and his innocence is misused in the city. Gopal then uses his muscle power to counter his detractors and comes back to village with the money after teaching the broker a lesson.
Debutante director Vasanth has tried to make an out and out comedy film and has succeeded to certain extent. The punch dialogues are free from double meaning and Jaggesh suits his role. Srinivasamurthy and Mukhyamantri Chandru are good.Chennai girl Suji Bala, who has been rechristened Rohini, has nothing much to do. V.Manohar?s songs and background are ok.
