Director Mysskin’s Onaiyum Aatukuttiyum which garnered a lot of critical acclaim has been a disaster at the box-office. The film just failed take off after its release on September 27, due to lack of promotions.

Believe it or not due to the lack of funds for promotions and his inability to compete with big banners, Mysskin has been out on the streets of Coimbatore personally sticking posters of Onaiyum Aatukuttiyum!
Mysskin who cannot afford to promote the film through print and television is on a road tour of local Tamil Nadu markets like Trichy, Salem and Madurai. As a symbolic gesture he is sticking posters at 3am in the morning!

The maverick  director is also giving away original audio CD’s of Ilayaraja’s background score for Onayum Attukuttiyum. He will donate the funds from the CD to Vasantham, the school for mentally challenged children in Chennai.
