The audio launch of Studio Green KE Gnanavel Raja’s Naan Mahan Alla was a grand function at the Satyam cinemas today (July 16) morning.

The film is the producer’s third after Paruthiveeran and Singam, both blockbusters and the expectations are naturally high from this film as well. The producers have teamed up with Cloud Nine Movies this time and this is actor Karthi’s second film with Cloud Nine post Paiyaa.

Going by the song and the trailer looks like the expectations will be met and even maybe surpassed. Director Susinthiran is at his best post Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu and the montage song screened showed his eye for detail and finger on the pulse of the youth audience.

The mix of romance and comedy in the song, set to music by Yuvan Shankar Raja caught the imagination of all and showed the sizzling chemistry between Karthi and Kajal captured by Madhi’s camerawork.

Abirami Ramanathan raised many laughs when he commented, “On seeing the song the suspense is bound to be high to know whether the hero finally kissed the heroine or not.”

Lingusamy was all praise for Karthi saying, “ Despite having no get up change in NMA he has managed to be entirely different from Paiyaa in this film though in both he plays a city boy. For Susinthiran it’s a big jump in his career and he is sure to do wonders with a versatile hero like Karthi. When I came for this event I was wondering whom to cast as my next heroine but now I have found her after seeing Kajal.”

The audio was launched by Hari and received by Lingusamy while the trailer was launched by Vetrimaran and received by Vishnuvardhan. “The album will be Yuvan’s best and the re recording in the second half is phenomenal,” said Susinthiran.

Said Karthi about the film, “We rehearsed for a whole week before starting shoot and this helped us a lot. Susinthiran is a beautiful film maker who loves cinema and has clarity of vision and loves people. Only if you love people this way can you create such a character. As soon as I heard the dialogues I wanted to start acting the part. The climax of the film will justify the title.”

The event was attended by luminaries like Dhayanidhi Alagiri, Kajal Agarwal,SD Saba, Ezhil, Vetrimaaran, Devi Sri Prasad, Na Muthukumar and Madhie amongst others.
