Naomi Campbell suffered a leg injury after she was violently attacked and robbed on a Paris street last month, according to sources.
The 42-year-old supermodel was knocked over and robbed by goons, as she tried to hail a cab, the New York Post reported.
Campbell suffered a torn ligament in the incident and reported the matter to the French police.
It is not known what the robbers stole from her, but it's believed that they were targeting the expensive jewellery that she might have been wearing.
Her billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, immediately flew her to Vail, Colorado, by private jet, where she was treated by J. Richard Steadman, one of the top orthopaedic surgeons in the world.
Campbell has been using a wheelchair and crutches to get around following the attack.
The source said that she has not spoken publicly about the assault nor told friends at the request of French police.
Doronin reportedly has upped security around Campbell, as a precaution.
When reached by phone, Campbell said that she was fine.
