Director Krishna of Sillunu Oru Kadhal fame, is making a comeback with a film called Nedunchalai. The film which was long in the making was recently screened for Udhayanidhi Stalin, who liked it and agreed to market it under his Red Giants banner.
Based on the real life events of 1980s, Nedunchalai features Aari and Shivatha in the lead roles. It has music by C Sathya. Krishna says the title is apt as the story happens on a national highway and delves into the lives of people who live near highways.
The film has been quite long in the making and has also Thambi Ramaiah in a pivotal role. Nedunchalai is likely to release in January.
