Hold your horses! It's not what you're thinking. The lovely Neha Dhupia is not saying 'I do' to rocker Marilyn Manson.
But the outfit she sported as showstopper definitely looks like the right choice if she had any such plans. Now if you ask us, that's one helluva compliment!
We love this edgy Falguni & Shane Peacock creation that would positively rock the aisle. Well, it certainly did when Neha took to the runway.
Both the designer and the showstopper turned the sterotypical idea of a bride right on its head!
But would Neha wear it? "My wedding outfit will depend on where I get married, whether I get married to a Christian, Muslim or who knows...so asking me what I will wear is like deciding a film's costume even before its script is written," said the actress. However, she's certain that she must have "A pair of flats and some antacid!"
While Neha's outfit might have received reactions ranging from agape to aghast, the rest of Falguni & Shane Peacock's collection did boast of colours. Titled 'Garden of Eden', models did the catwalk in ghaghras, anarkalis, kalidaar saris teamed with bustiers, halters and shrugs in colours such as pistachio, pink, ivory and gold.
The backdrop too, added to the drama of the designs. Bougainvillea flowers wound their way through green foliage as flowers were strewn in pretty patterns on the runway.
