[India], May 27 (ANI): The nepotism debate, which was sparked off months ago by Kangana Ranaut on 'Koffee with Karan', has had celebrities expressing their opinions right up to this day.
The latest celeb to voice his views on the same is the 'Yaariyan'-famed actor Himansh Kohli, who feels that nepotism exists in every field, but it is talent which matters at the end.
During an exclusive conversation with ANI, the 27-year-old actor said, "Nepotism has always been there. My absence on silver- screen from last two years was only because of that .Nepotism exists in every field."
"I feel people do favour each other in whatever professions they are. The established ones definitely look after those connected with them. But at the end, I feel talent does matter, if you have something in you, no matter what, you will achieve what you want," he added.
The 'Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi' actor, who is returning to the silver screen after a gap of two years with the upcoming rom-com 'Sweetie Weds NRI', was yesterday spotted in the national capital promoting his film with the movie's leading lady Zoya Afroz.
When asked her views on nepotism, Zoya said, "I have observed that the biggest superstars that we have in our country started from scratch. Literally, they were nothing before entering the film industry, so if they can make it why not we all can? I feel that some people do favour but that does not matter. Nepotism exists in corporate world and everywhere else. Just because film industry is much more glamorous and famous, it gets into media and nepotism here is much talked about."
"I feel one should believe in oneself and in his/her hard work. If you are hard working, nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams," she added.
On a related note, Hasnain Hyderabadwala's directorial 'Sweetie Weds NRI' is slated to release on June 2.(ANI)
