'Neram' makes a huge impact in Kerala!

Red Giant Movies Udhayanidhi Stalin as a producer and distributor seems to know the pulse of the audience. He can eye a potential hit as proved by acquiring the Tamil rights of Alphonse Putharen’s Neram a romantic comedy-thriller made in Malayalam and Tamil.

Neram in Malayalam released on May 10 and has been declared a super hit. The film has netted an impressive Rs 81 lakhs from 73 screens in its opening weekend (May 10-12) in Kerala. Neram in Tamil is releasing big through Red Giants in 200 plus screens in Tamil Nadu on May 17.

The directorial debut of Alphonse Putharen, has also impressed the critics and box-office alike. The film scores with a brilliant narration, interesting performances, good visuals and peppy music.

Ace director Selvaraghavan tweeted to Udhayanidhi Stalin – “Saw Neram and enjoyed the film. Excellent making and Nasser is really awesome.  Please convey my regards to the entire team.”

Those who have seen the Tamil version at a sneak preview say it will work big time in Tamil Nadu. It's a brave attempt by a group of youngsters and such sincere efforts need to be encouraged.
