He began his tryst with Tollywood with Sekhar Kammula's Happy Days, now Nikhil Siddhartha is a full fledged star in tinsel town. The adulation is because of Swamy Ra Ra, which was a big hit.

Nikhil is all set to entertain us once again with his Swamy Ra Ra's leading lady Swathi. The film Karthikeya will be released in Tamil as well. As the film get ready for release, here is a small interview with Nikhil.

Tell us about your new film Karthikeya?

It's a thriller along with entertainment. For the first time I am trying my hands in this genre. My motive is when audience buys a ticket for the film it should be a total paisa vasool. He should go back content. And Karthikeya will just do that.

This is your second film with Swathi, comment?

It was the producer's choice. Swathi enhances my performance. We both had a good deal as she is already famous in Tamil she gets the Tamil version of the film. She is a person who lifts everyone's mood. It is like a party on sets when she is around.

Tell us about the love of your life?

My parents! Yes they are the love of my life now. I have tattooed their names on the back of my shoulders. I am still looking for the lady love in my life.

Did you have a cinematic crush?

Yes I did. Bhumika Chawla after seeing her wonderful performance in Khushi.

You like football, what are your other interests?

Football is a beautiful game and very addictive. But I prefer cricket. Playing football can cause many injuries. Cricket is a safe game. I love traveling too.

Which is your favourite genre in films?

I love comedy. Post Karthikeya, I will be doing a romantic comedy. The shoot of this film might commence from July.

What is your aim as an actor?

I want to entertain people. It's a great feeling when people like our films. I want to try different kinds of roles and keep the interest of the audiences.

Do you want to act with any particular director?

Rajamouli sir. Everyone wants to be directed by him. I too am one of them.
