Remember Nikita Thukral the actress who scorched the screen in Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja item number “Kodana Kodi…”?

The actress has now been banned from Kannada films for three years by the Kannada Film Producers' Association (KFPA).

KFPA has cited her “romance and closeness” with Kannada actor Darshan which led to his brutal beating up of his wife Vijayalakshmi.

Later, acting on a police complaint filed by Vijayalakshmi, Darshan was arrested. Later, the wife withdrew her complaint but  Nikita’s figured in the complaint .

The KFPA has turned its ire on Nikita and banned her for three years from Kannada films for allegedly “creating disharmony in Darsan’s family”.

A peeved Nikita hit out and asked KFPA to show proof of her so called “wrong doings and illicit relationship “with Darshan.

Says an angry Nikita: “ I will voluntarily walk out of Kannada film industry as they are trying to slur my image.” The actress has decided to concentrate  only on the other three southern industries- Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films.
