Mysskin’s films are known for chartbuster ‘Kuthu’ songs like ‘Kathala Kannala’, ’Vazha Meenukum’ and ‘Kanni Theevu Ponna’ placed in the second half. But the director’s upcoming detective thriller ‘Thupparivalan’ will not have any such song after intermission.
“At first, Myskkin asked Arrol Corelli to compose songs post-intermission but now, he has decided to not include any such numbers hindering the screenplay progress”, says a source close to the team.
“After establishing all the characters in the first hald, the screenplay of Thupparivalan is said to be super racy and Myskkin doesn’t want audiences to be pissed off by including unnecessary songs or comedy track for commercial reasons”, added the source.
Besides Vishal, Thupparivalan also has Prasanna, Vinay, K Bhagyaraj and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal characters. Produced by Vishal Film Factory, Thupparivalan is slated to release on August 11.
