Rakshith Shetty’s directorial Ulidavaru Kandanthe, not only set a new dimension in the technical aspects, but also established Kishore and Yagna Shetty as one of the best on screen pairs.
The chemistry between the actors was one of the highlights of the story and was appreciated by the audience and the critics as well. Though Yagna had no dialogues to deliver in the movie, her
expressions had garnered the attention of the audience and currently the young lass is been considered by many upcoming directors. Now, after having received popularity among the masses, the duo are coming together on screen, once again with a movie titled Octopus, which is being directed by P Annayya.
While Kishore is a well known face in Tamil and Telugu industries, Yagna Shetty is all set to cross the boundaries with this movie, as Octopus is all set to be produced in two languages (Kannada and Tamil). One of the best on screen baddie Tilak Shekhar will be the villain in the movie and with this he has also geared up to debuting in Tamil.
PC Prasannakumar Doddabele is said to finance Octopus and the story has been sketched by P Annayya who will also be directing the movie. Raviverma’s stunts and Suresh Urs’s editing is said to be used in the movie which is touted to be a mystery-thriller.
While it was the rural look of the actors that seized the interest of the audience in Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Octopus is said to showcase the duo in a contradictory image compared to their last outing.
