Mani Ratnam’s new film is progressing at the Indian Institute of Management campus in Ahmedabad. A long schedule in Mumbai was completed last week, and now portions including the lead pair will be shot in the campus.
Though sources close to unity say that the film has been titled Okay Kanmani, official announcement is yet to be made.
Touted be a breezy romantic story like Alaipayuthey, the film has Dulquer Salmaan, Nithya Menon and Prakash Raj to its star cast, while Kaniha and Ramya Subramaniam play supporting roles.
Ace cinematographer PC Sreeram who worked with Mani Ratnam in Mouna Ragam, Agni Natchathiram, Nayagan and Alaipayuthey is cranking the camera while the director’s lucky mascot AR Rahman is composing the music.
Sources say that Mani Ratnam is likely to wrap up the film by this month and the film will release in February 2015.
