With New Year come new releases! Jaggesh’s son Gururaj’s upcoming film Paipoti is slated to release on Jan 9. While Ganesh’s Khushi khushiyagi is slated to release on January 1, Upendra’s most-hyped project Shivam is all set to release on January 2 and Duniya Vijay’s Jackson is scheduled to release on January 15, Paipoti’s release has been sandwiched between these three block buster releases.
Paipoti, starring four-film old Gururaj and debutants Niranjan Shetty and Poojasri, is said to be a triangular love story with some comic and action elements. Laksh Obed from Belgaum is turning producer with Paipoti and K Ramnarayan has directed the film. The movie is an important project for the actor as well as the director. Gururaj, though made his debut in 2009 with Ghilli has just done four projects till date and this is his fifth project and the commercial success of the film is important to him to plan his career further.
One of the most unique elements of the film is the song Bitkolodralli Ide Sukha. The speciality of the song is that the music for the song has been composed by using objects like coins, blades, broken pipe, car bonnet, match box, bucket, and utensils instead of musical instruments.
The song is said to appear in the second half of the film when both Guru and Niranjan Shetty lose their love of life. The song is already a hit and fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film.
Apart from facing competition from these films, Paipoti also has to face Yogaraj Bhat’s Vaastu Prakara, Pooja Gandhi’s Abhinetri and AP Arjun’s Raate, which is also slated to release in the first month of the year 2015.
