One time Tamil cinema’s leading producer Panchu Arunachalam celebrated his 70th birthday in style.
Remember Panchu and his PA Arts were leading producers in the 1970's and 80's who had made many Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan hits.
Panchu Arunachalam is also Rajinikanth's all time favourite producer.
Last time when Panchu met Rajini some months back , star said that the producer should celebrate his 70th birthday in style.
Panchu's son television actor turned film actor Subbu says: "Rajinikanth wanted to be present at dad's Bheemaratha Shanthi (70 th birthday), but since he is in Singapore hospital, he could not be present. The irony of it is that dad wanted to celebrate his birthday in Karaikudi our home town, but it was Rajini and Kamal who wanted it in Chennai. Latha Rajinikanth called up dad to wish him over the phone. Kamal sir attended the function."
