Parul Yadav, who made a sensational debut in Kannada films last year through Govindaya Namaha, has apparently turned down an offer to act in the Telugu version of the movie for which shooting is expected to commence shortly.

A sleeper hit, Govindaya Namaha launched the career of Parul in Sandalwood while elevating comedy actor Komal to that of a full length hero. A song from the movie Pyarge… became an internet sensation overnight and became the first ever Kannada film song to register 1 million hits on Youtube.

Parul, who danced beautifully to the song, composed on the lines of an old Hindi song by Gurukiran, became a household name in Karnataka. That got her the role of a female lead opposite super star Sudeep in his next big budget movie Bachchan.

There were three female leads in Govindaya Namaha, but Parul earned the limelight because of the song. Now, director Pawan Wodeyar is making the same film in Telugu with Manoj Manchu in the lead role. Apparently, he approached Parul to reprise the same role in Telugu.

It is said that Parul has said a firm ‘no’ to the director because she is getting offers from bigger banners opposite A list actors.

Besides, the three-heroine film could work against the actress’ debut in Tollywood. Though offers are flooding Parul Yadav’s way, the actress has been careful in selecting her projects. It looks like she is awaiting the release of Bachchan before taking up any other project.
