Parvathy Omanakuttan seems to be happy that her debut film Billa-2 was a perfect launch pad and is peeved that a leading daily referred her as a 'flop actor’.
Her recent outing, Billa 2 seems to have put her on a new high. Ajith’s Billa 2 gave her an unheard of new reach. The actor’s Hindi flop debut and later a shelved Tamil film, haven’t marred her spirits. Today, she is recognized wherever she goes, as the Billa girl and this has only increased her desire to learn Tamil.
A pleased Parvathy says : “I am lucky to be part of an Ajit film, that too in my debut itself. People come up to me and talk about Billa and have been showering so much love on me. I am determined to learn Tamil so that I can respond to all of them.”
Dismissing the ‘flop’ tag she says, “I haven’t done that many films for me to be given any such tag. I deserve a fair chance and being accepted by the film fraternity with my Tamil debut is an indication of people’s faith in me. Its touching to see the warmth that films can give you. I am here to stay and do the people who have faith in me, proud.”
We wish you luck Parvathy!
