In a statement issued by his Jana Sena party, Pawan Kalyan said that he has dedicated his life to public service and will continue to remain in public life.
"Have no time to act in films. I will be the voice of the people and fight with the government and point out their fallacies. My thoughts are for welfare of the people and I am striving to build social equality," he said in a statement.
After the release of Agnyaathavaasi in January this year, Pawan Kalyan has stopped accepting new films and has started focussing on building his party Jana Sena.
He has also made it clear that his party would not contest the Telangana General elections 2018.
