Pazhassi Raja grosses Rs 2.72 crore in 3 days!

Gokulam Gopalan’s magnum opus Pazhassi Raja written by MT Vasudevan Nair and directed by Hariharan featuring Mammootty in the lead has grossed a whopping Rs 2.72 crore from 125 screens in Kerala during the Diwali weekend.
Says Gokulam Praveen, the co-producer of the film: “It is truly amazing the way the film has opened and is being received by the public in Kerala.
Everybody seems to like the film and the word of mouth is so good that it may turn out to be a mega blockbuster.”
The film is also doing extraordinary business in Bangalore where it has opened in 4 screens. Pazhassi Raja is releasing in Mumbai (10 screens), Pune (2 screens) and New Delhi (5 screens) from October 23. The bi-lingual Tamil version will release on November 6.
