'Pencil' is a thriller set in school

The press meet to announce the official launch of Pencil was held on Saturday evening at a star hotel in Chennai.  The film is in the news mainly for noted music director GV Prakash who makes his debut as hero in the film.  The heroine is Sri Divya.

Pencil, according to its debutant director Mani Nagaraj an assistant to Gautham Menon is a new genre in Tamil cinema and will have all commercial elements to satisfy everyone.

The film is produced by SP Raghavesh who was also present at the press meet.  The film also introduces  Shariq son of actor Riyaz Khan is an important role.

The film will start rolling from December first week and promises to be an entertaining thriller. Editing is by Antony and music is by GV Prakash himself.
