Eight-year-old Ryan Philip will be the centre of attraction as Philips & the Monkey Pen hits the screens today. The story is about a fifth standard student who is having trouble with his Maths homework. Actor Sanusha's younger brother Sanoop plays the lead in the film, directed by debutants Rojin Thomas and Shanil Muhammed.
Jayasurya and Remya Nambeeshan play Ryan's parents. Joy Mathew, Innocent and Mukesh also include the cast. Neil D' Cunha wields the camera, while Remya's brother Rahul Subramanian is the music director.
Philips & the Monkey Pen is being produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Film House.
