Piaa is all smiles after the release of Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Picture Productions Goa.
She says: “My dreams are turning into reality. I always wanted to be an actress right from young age but in Ittawa, a small town in UP, where I grew up, films were a taboo especially in my family. Balaji serials were very popular in our village and my mother was a big fan. So, I lied to my parents that I was selected to act in one of them, and that’s how I moved to Mumbai”
And today, Piaa is happy that her struggle to make it big in films is turning into a reality. She spoke to sify.com , back after a promotional campaign of Goa. The campaign was unique as Piaa got an opportunity to travel through the southern parts of Tamil Nadu.
Accompanying her on the campaign were hero Jai, Vaibhav and Ocher Karthik. The director of the film Venkat Prabhu fell sick at the last minute and could not be part of the southern campaign.
Piaa had not seen this kind of crowd thronging the theatres to see the actors. It was an all new experience for her that she will cherish forever.
