'Podaa Podi',gets a clean U certificate

Silambarasan aka STR is all smiles. His Diwali release Podaa Podi has been cleared by the censors today (Nov 9) evening with a clean U certificate.
This romantic musical is now confirmed to take on Vijay’s AR Murugadoss directed big budget action entertainer Thuppakki on Diwali Day (Nov 13).
Theatres across Tamil Nadu heaved a sigh of relief as all of them want at least two films to release during Diwali festival.
According to sources close to producer Hitesh Jabak, the censor board members who saw the film were extremely pleased and congratulated director Vignesh Shiva for making a clean entertainer and portraying the hero as a “good boy” who does not smoke or drink!
Podaa Podi with its feel-good factor and peppy songs is sure to please the youth and family audiences this Diwali.
