The Madras High Court has given the green signal for the release of
Prasanth's Thiagarajan directed Ponnar Shankar. The story of the film
is based on a novel written by Kalaignar Karunanidhi and has music by
The High Court has dismissed a petition filed by M Loganathan ,
managing trustee of Kongu Kalvi Valarchi Arakattalai, seeking that that
the censors should not certify the film "before the producers remove
allegedly offensive content in the film."
Justice P Jyothimani dismissed the petition saying it was
