Prabhu Deva’s 'Yung Mung Sung' targets Summer release

Prabhu Deva’s period comedy action entertainer ‘Yung Mung Sung’ targets April release. The film’s story is set in the late 70’s during which Indian youngsters started practicing Kung fu and other martial arts which were popular in China.

Yung Mung Sung is basically about three friends played by Prabhu Deva, RJ Balaji and Ashwin(Kumki), whose character names are Yung, Mung, and Sung respectively. Cinematographer turned director Thangar Bachan acts as Prabhu Deva’s dad and Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead in the film.

RB Gurudev is producing the film, which is being bankrolled by Vasan Visual Ventures. Prabhakar who was seen as the king of Kalakeyas in Baahubali also plays an important role. The producers are planning to release the film for Summer holidays.
