Prakash Raj and the Gouravam team held their first conference in Chennai on April 10. The idea was to introduce Sirish Allu , the film’s hero to the Chennai media.

Radha Mohan the film’s director has made the film on the bold subject of ‘honour killing’. The film has Sirish Allu and Yami Gautham in the lead with music by Thaman.

Speaking at the function Radha Mohan said: “I have taken a grave social issue about honour killings happening in our country in Gouravam. We assume that social ills are far removed from our lives because we live in the cities. They are not, and it’s time we become sensitive to them. I have tried to spread the message without any sermonising.”

Prakash Raj the producer said he is happy with the final outcome of the film and it is bold and daring as it has handled a topical issue in a very sensitive manner.  Sirish Allu said it was a learning experience in doing a film with Radha Mohan and the film will speak for itself.
